ADIOS sung by LR‏

America’s known some pretty fine songwriters over the years, but perhaps none finer than Jimmy Webb, who wrote several of his masterpieces for Glenn Campbell, Amy Grant, The Fifth Dimension, Richard Harris, Frank Sinatra, and even Elvis.  Some of his incomparable songs include “Up, Up and Away,” “By the Time I Get to Phoenix,” “Wichita Lineman,” “Galveston,” “The Worst That Could Happen,” “Didn’t We,” “MacArthur Park,” and this incomparable torch song written for and sung by Linda Ronstadt.  If you’ve never experienced this haunting ballad by “The Voice,” you’re in for a treat.  It even hosts a few popular back-up singers you may have heard of…The Beach Boys.  Enjoy!
