Never mind.  Just enjoy.  But cherish!

The sky is not blue and black here in southern California, but very light blue, slightly cloudy and really sunny!  However, I stumbled across this amazing song this morning on a whim, suddenly remembering I hadn’t listen to it in almost two years.  And that’s way too long not to listen to what is easily one of the most beautiful songs ever written.

Besides, a four-minute dose of incandescent sonic beauty is as good as any other way to get an early Thursday morning moving along in a positive and eh, well, incandescent direction!  For those of you I’ve not shared this gem with in the past, if you appreciate melody and elegant, deep lyrics and romance of the highest order, then you’re in for a treat.  Give about four minutes of your day to Sky Blue and Black.  And may your day become one that is bright and beautiful!

Marry Me:

An elderly widow and widower were dating for about five years. The man finally decided to ask her to marry. She immediately said “yes.”

The next morning when he awoke, he couldn’t remember what her answer was! “Was she happy? I think so, wait, no, she looked at me funny…”

After about an hour of trying to remember to no avail, he got on the telephone and gave her a call. Embarrassed, he admitted that he didn’t remember her answer to the marriage proposal.

“Oh,” she said, “I’m so glad you called. I remembered saying ‘yes’ to someone, but I couldn’t remember who it was.”

Health Professionals in Heaven:

Three nurses died and went to Heaven. They were met at the Pearly Gates by St. Peter, who questioned them.

“What did you used to do back on Earth?” he asked the first nurse. “Why do you think you should be allowed into Heaven?”

She told him, “I was a nurse at an inner city hospital. I worked to bring healing and peace to many sufferers, especially poor children.”

“Very noble. You may enter.” And he ushered her through the gates. He asked the same questions to the next nurse.

“I was a missionary nurse in the Amazon. For many years I worked with a small group of doctors and nurses to help people in numerous tribes, healing them and telling them of God’s love.” The second nurse replied.

“Excellent!” said St. Peter. And he ushered her through the gates as well. Finally he posed his questions to the third nurse.

She hesitated, then explained, “I was just a nurse at an HMO.”

St. Peter considered her answer for a moment, then told her, “Well, you can enter, too.”

“Wow!” the nurse exclaimed in relief. “I almost thought you weren’t going to let me in.”

“Oh, you can certainly come in,” St. Peter told her, “but you can only stay for three days.”

Volvo Driver:

An old guy in his Volvo is driving home from work when his wife rings him on his car phone.

“Honey,” she says in a worried voice, “Be careful! There was a bit on the news just now, some lunatic is driving the wrong way down the freeway.”

“It’s worse than that,” he replies, “There are hundreds of them!”

A Quiz Book that Divergent Series Fans Will Love! ****

I wrote a review for about a new book on the popular Divergent novel/book series.  You ought to visit the amazon page and check it out this new interesting book.  Herewith is my review…for those who like reading book reviews!

A Quiz Book that Divergent Series Fans Will Love! ****

The Divergent books by Veronica Roth now has a stimulating addition to whet the appetites of devoted readers of the book series.  The bestselling series, set in a post-apocalyptic society (in Chicago) and rife with action, imagination, romance and numerous literary devices, the entire series of stories is quite comprehensive and involved.  Yet quiz book author Sarah David has seemingly managed to compile, collate and collect it all and compress it into what is a fun and lively question and answer game that is easy to understand and easy to play.

Gamers, or readers, can play alone or compete against other Divergent aficionados.  There is a basic set of text links on each page.  And once a player has answered the first question and then continues onto the next question they can segue throughout the whole quiz book without difficulty–but not without challenge.  Cause you have to have read the Divergent books and know your stuff!  The questions are thought-provoking as well as topic-oriented, and each question page offers four answer options. Plus, each of these answer options links to a different answer page that has an option to continue on to the next question or go back and re-try the last question.  Overall, the whole experience is quite enjoyable and mentally stimulating.  So if you loved the Divergent books, you will love this book by Sarah David.  It’s well-written, well-done and just a well of fun!

How to Save the Environment: Give Employees a Day Off!

Creeklife CEO Mark Contorno has written a brilliant and inspiring article called “How to Save the Environment: Give Employees a Day Off!” It’s a fabulous read and tremendously enjoyable and informative. Check it out and be environmentally inspired and enlightened!  Right here:

I love the creative process! And not rushing to make Touched by Hannah is really paying off. Especially through consultation and collaboration with others. Including geniuses like Jeff Werner, Betsy’s brother Steve, and others on our film staff and crew. Thus our vision and story is still evolving and creatively overflowing. So PLEASE COMMENT and opine. Your ideas and suggestions are welcomed!

My vision is for people to not fear or think of cancer as a death sentence, but as of one of life’s difficult challenges. Conversation, especially to loved ones afflicted by cancer, should be encouraged, free-flowing and not shied away from.

Chris Hennessy will become the needed national face and voice that changes the way people think about cancer by promoting and providing a positive attitude of health, hope, laughter and inspiration for millions of fellow cancer victims and their loved ones.

“Chris Hennessy battles cancer head on by relying on faith, focus, family, and a wicked ad-lib sense of humor. He sees his journey as a gift and it has inspired him to make a film about his story and other victims who have fearlessly fought cancer. He and they have been asked the question: ‘How did you get through it?’ And what he found was a classic story of American heroes.”
