FROM 59 VETERANS PROJECT: DAN DALY, A HERO’S HERO!

DAN DALY

PLEASE READ, ENJOY AND SHARE!

We’re real excited here at the 59 VETERANS PROJECT. And with good reason. We continue meeting and networking with tons of great people and gain support for our project and move closer to its implementation. We can’t wait to start working with our veterans and do so in the beautiful landscapes of our magnificent national parks!

Meanwhile, we love sharing bits and pieces of interesting and amazing stories about our men and women who served in our military in years past. They are and shall ever be national heroes.  And one such hero is a complete and unbelievable story in itself.  His name is Dan Daly.

Dan Daly is probably considered the most decorated Marine in the history of the Corps. Not only did he win the Congressional Medal of Honor, but he won two of them! And in addition to this he also earned a Navy Cross, the second highest award for valor bestowed upon those who serve in the U.S. Navy and USMC.

To learn more about Dan Daly, you can visit this informative website: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daniel_Daly. And to learn more about our 59 VETERANS PROJECT, please visit us online at our main hangout here: http://www.59veterans.com. We can’t wait to meet you!
