Cuyahoga Valley National Park

Here at the 59 VETERANS PROJECT we can’t till we are bivouacked out on the prairie, 3D videographing a nearby mountain range and a host of critters as they scurry along the expansive sand-top. And we’ll sharing company with an outdoor classroom of our military veterans here amidst the rugged terrain of Cuyahoga Valley National Park.  Wait a minute…  Cuyahoga Valley National Park?  Never heard of it!  There’s Yosemite, Yellowstone, Grand Canyon, Zion and lots of other popular national parks.  But who’s ever heard of Cuyahoga Valley?!

Well, now you have…heard of it!  But a short distance from the urban areas of Cleveland, Ohio, Cuyahoga Valley is indeed one of our 59 national parks.  It is also a refuge for native plants and wildlife, and provides a host of exotic routes of amazing discovery for visitors and veterans alike. The winding Cuyahoga River gives way to deep forests, rolling hills and open farmlands. And you can walk or ride the Towpath Trail to follow the historic route of the Ohio & Erie Canal.  You can even fish at the park dam or take a ride on the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad.  This national park is as epic as any other!

And Cuyahoga Valley will be one of 59 national parks we will be spending quality time with veterans teaching them 4D and 3D high-definition photography.  To learn more about Cuyahoga Valley National Park, visit this site: http://www.cuyahoga-valley.org/.  And to learn more about the 59 VETERANS PROJECT, visit us here: http://www.59veterans.com.  And remember: be it Yosemite, Yellowstone or Cuyahoga Valley National Park, we can’t wait to meet everyone of you along the trail and at the top of the summit!
