It stands to reason if you got a word like “grand” in your name, then there must be something pretty grand about you. This couldn’t be more true than Grand Teton National Park. In fact, Grand Teton is not only grand, it’s downright epic!
Grand Teton National Park is actually one of the most spectacular, awe-inspiring places in America. Reaching elevations from 6,320 to 13,770 feet and established as a national park in 1929, Grand Teton in Wyoming is rife with glacier mountains, scenic drives, hiking trails, deep-pooled lakes, a vast array of fauna and flora, and an abundance of amazing wildlife. Here’s your chance to see grizzly and black bears, coyotes, gray wolves, bison, elk, pronghorns and bald eagles, a variety of smaller mammals (such as the Uinta ground squirrel) and the wild and epic Snake River.
We at the 59 VETERANS PROJECT can’t wait to be teaching and working with our military veterans and sharing in the grand adventure that is Grand Teton National Park. With the support of so many and our operational plan gathering momentum, this is not only a dream but a grand reality destined to happen!
