59 VETERANS PROJECT AND ARCHES NATIONAL PARK!

Arches National Park

SHARE THIS EPIC NATIONAL PARK WITH YOUR FRIENDS!

Like the rocky edifice in this attached photo, Arches National Park in southeast Utah contains the greatest density of natural sandstone structures and arches in the world. Throughout the park, rock layers reveal millions of years of deposition, erosion and intriguing geologic evolution.

Arches National Park provides a host of outdoor activities such as biking, backpacking, camping, hiking, stargazing and rock climbing. And hikers can enjoy a wide variety of trails. Some hikes in Arches only take a couple hours to complete, while others are longer half-day hikes for the intermediate and advanced hiker.

For those who prefer to tour by car, there are many scenic driving routes for viewing some of the park’s largest arches and amazing rock formations.  Over 2,000 arches are located within the park’s 76,518 acres!

59 VETERANS PROJECT: COMMEMORATE MEMORIAL DAY WITH US!

MEMORIAL DAY 1

SHARE WITH VETERANS & FELLOW AMERICANS!

Memorial Day is a day of remembrance of those who died serving our country, and came as a response to the unprecedented carnage of the Civil War, in which some 620,000 soldiers on both sides died.

From the practice of decorating graves with flowers, wreaths and flags, the holiday was long known as Decoration Day. The name Memorial Day goes back to 1882, but the older name didn’t disappear until after World War II. Then “Memorial Day” became the official name in 1967.

It’s nice to put a shrimp on the barbie and enjoy a three-day weekend recreating and spending time with family and friends.  But if you want to do something memorable this Memorial Day, go visit a national cemetery.

Every Memorial Day they hold flag placing ceremonies, military marches and bands, recitations of the Gettysburg Address and other famous speeches, and a special playing of TAPS and other reverent events.

Just being there, strolling the hallowed grounds of a national cemetery and standing among the graves of all those fallen heroes who gave their lives for our country…is an experience you will revere and never forget!

Our 59 VETERANS PROJECT intends to do much for our veterans, and our official launch is coming soon.  We invite you to join us and enjoy the privilege of giving back to our men and women who have served and serve our nation with honor, bravery and devotion.

Visit us online here: http://www.59veterans.com.  Meanwhile, we wish a profound MEMORIAL DAY to one and all!

“Death leaves a heartache no one can heal.
Love leaves a memory no one can steal.”

MEMORIAL DAY 1

SHARE THIS POST TO REMEMBER & REFLECT!

Memorial Day is a day to remember and reflect upon all the men and women in uniform who gave their lives for our country and so we can live free and in peace.  Memorial Day is very important to MOVING MASTERS because many of us here are veterans and have family members who are veterans of World War II, the Korean and Vietnam Wars, and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Thus it is our privilege and honor to salute and humbly acknowledge all who served in uniform, walked the wall, stood on the battle lines and gave “The last full measure of devotion” to America.  You are not forgotten, but will forever live in our hearts and minds!

Please visit our page here on FB and leave us a comment in homage to Memorial Day!  Here: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Moving-Masters/708317462572490?ref=hl.

59 VETERANS PROJECT: SHARE THE MILITARY MONTH OF MAY!

Women's Army CorpsSHARE THE MILITARY MONTH OF MAY!

May is a pivotal month in American history.  Not only do we have Armed Forces Day and Memorial Day to celebrate each year, but we also have May 15, which is WAC Day.  That’s right: WAC for Women’s Army Corps.

The Women’s Army Corps was founded during World War II on May 15, 1942.  And on that day Public Law 554 was approved making members of the WAC as the first women other than nurses to serve within the ranks of the United States U.S. Army.

“WACs” have served with bravery, honor and distinction since its founding in 1942, and it is our pleasure to give a shout-out and salute to all our ladies in uniform!  To learn more about the Women’s Army Corps, visit this informative site online: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Women%27s_Army_Corps.  It’s a very stimulating and inspiring read!

Meanwhile, the 59 VETERANS PROJECTS continues to gear up and prepare for its major offensive in 2015.  To learn more about our seminal project and how you can be a critical part of it, visit our headquarters unit here: http://www.59veterans.com.
