SHARE THIS EPIC NATIONAL PARK WITH YOUR FRIENDS!
Like the rocky edifice in this attached photo, Arches National Park in southeast Utah contains the greatest density of natural sandstone structures and arches in the world. Throughout the park, rock layers reveal millions of years of deposition, erosion and intriguing geologic evolution.
Arches National Park provides a host of outdoor activities such as biking, backpacking, camping, hiking, stargazing and rock climbing. And hikers can enjoy a wide variety of trails. Some hikes in Arches only take a couple hours to complete, while others are longer half-day hikes for the intermediate and advanced hiker.
For those who prefer to tour by car, there are many scenic driving routes for viewing some of the park’s largest arches and amazing rock formations. Over 2,000 arches are located within the park’s 76,518 acres!
