China’s Newest Bullet Train is Awesome!

CHINA NEW MASSIVE HSR TRAIN

SHARE WITH TRUE LOVERS OF HSR!

The first mass production type of high speed rail bullet train, the CR400AF Fuxinghao (The Revival), began its service at Beijing South Railway Station in China this past June, immediately after an unveiling ceremony the day before.
It’s a magnificent HSR train, and it’s a tragedy we have nothing close to it here in the United States. China continues to increase and improve it’s high speed rail routes and fleets of bullet trains.
Meanwhile, America continues to languish in massive vehicular traffic jams and gridlock, traveling aboard sardine-can, customer abusive airliners and being ferried via an old, slow-moving train system not much improved since the 1950s. Do Americans have to go to China or Europe to experience world-class transportation again?

THE 59 VETS PROJECT INTRODUCES YOU TO MOH WINNER MATT URBAN!

MATT URBAN

SHARE THIS WWII HERO’S STORY WITH EVERYONE!

Matt Louis Urban was a U.S. Army lieutenant colonel. He is one of the most decorated infantry officers and Medal of Honor recipients in World War II. And here at the 59 VETERANS PROJECT you know how we love writing about and sharing stories about our heroic veterans!

As for Lt. Colonel Matt Urban, here is what one online source has to say:

“He fought in seven campaigns and suffered from seven different wounds. The German’s named him “The Gray Ghost” because he seemed to die and come back to life. When given the Medal of Honor, his citation referred to ten separate acts of bravery during the Normandy campaign alone. While walking with a cane because of a broken leg, Urban managed to destroy multiple enemy tanks using a bazooka. At one point he broke himself out of a hospital, hitchhiked to the front of a battlefield, and proceeded to fight. He even found an abandoned enemy tank, jumped inside, and proceeded, on his own, to drive towards enemy forces where he opened fire. After being shot in the throat he was forced to leave the battlefield, but he recovered and lived until 1995.”

Japan’s Newest Bullet Train is Fast!

JAPAN BULLETS

PLEASE SHARE WITH TRAIN LOVERS EVERYWHERE!

Japan now has bullet trains that can travel 360 KPH, and it wouldn’t surprise us as fast as an actual bullet soon. And maybe even sooner before America ever finally updates its aging, antiquated, oil-dependent transportation system of old trains, sardine-stuffing planes and endless automobile-mentality for brains!

America is first in everything? Definitely in swimming events at the Summer Olympics. Fast, efficient, economical highway transportation? Not even close.
