DISCOVER THIS NATIONAL PARK & SHARE!
In the American Territory of American Samoa is the National Park of American Samoa. It is distributed across three separate islands named Tutuila, Ofu and Ta’ū in the Pacific. The park consists of beautiful scenic views, coral reefs, tropical rainforests, fruit bats and the Samoan culture. It is very popular for numerous outdoor activities including hiking, biking, swimming and snorkeling. Of the park’s 13,500 acres, 9,000 acres is land and 4,500 is coral reefs and ocean. It is the only American national park south of the Equator.
Of our 59 national parks, American Samoa is definitely a prime oceanic locale to visit and spend an enchanted vacation enjoying sun, surf, beautiful beaches and a host of natural treasures not found anywhere else on earth. And we at the 59 VETERANS PROJECT can’t wait to experience and share this island paradise with our military veterans who we will be teaching 3D photography and videography.

SHARE WARM THOUGHTS!
As much of the nation is experiencing some pretty cold temperatures this holiday, we think it is the perfect time to share some warm thoughts and images to help get you through the day.
Did you know one of the National Parks is in the Virgin Islands? St. John encompasses 7000 plus acres and offers some pretty breathtaking views from many of its hills, valleys and beaches. It has an underwater trail on Trunk Bay Beach (pictured) and is considered one of the Top 10 Beaches in the world.
And did you know that the 59 VETERANS PROJECT is a major operation in the process of creating an amazing enterprise that will be of tremendous benefit to both our military veterans and national parks? Visit our official website to learn more. And come join us! Here: http://www.59veterans.com

PLEASE SHARE WITH YOUR FRIENDS!
Here’s a poem I wrote regarding someone near and dear years ago. For a poem can memorialize and immortalize the deepest experience you’ve ever had…and in a sandy, sea-filled, infinite way.
There we stood years ago, upon our emerald beach,
With pure love between us, and pure happiness within reach.
Years ago when you held my heart in the palm of your hand,
And I would caress your skin…that was the color of sand!
For how I loved and was loved by you, each and every day.
There in the summer surf, until the tide had swept away.
Then we would walk long, sweet walks along the shore…hand in hand.
And yes, how I truly loved you…and how you loved the sand!
Then cold tides reigned and dark clouds remained…for summer was past!
Then we were swept together in a life that couldn’t last.–
A life our seashore hearts never wanted…and never planned.
A life bereft of long, sweet walks…and of emerald sand.
But such is the illusion of passion and lovers’ youth,
And the bitterness that time gives maturity and truth.
The truest love you think you found and which time will withstand,
Through life’s frail fingers…can be as fleeting as grains of sand.
Still, though now I walk concrete shores and stroll an urban dawn,
And my one true love is now lost or dead, but somewhere gone;
Though I have found new life and hold some happiness in hand,
The past is not lost or dead. For God!…how I miss the sand!
