The 59 Veterans Project has a Veterans Post for You!

PLEASE SHARE WITH EVERYONE EVERYWHERE!

Here at the 59 VETERANS PROJECT we don’t need a special reason or holiday to honor and celebrate our military veterans. It’s a privilege to honor them every single day. We hope you feel the same.

For our project is to help veterans. So visit us often here on Facebook (at https://www.facebook.com/59veterans/) to stay up to date as our project continues to move forward. There is a summit we intend to ascend. It is a lofty one. And we hope you join us in its ascent!

59 VETERANS PROJECT SALUTES THE NATIONAL PARK SERVICE!

NPS SIGN

THE 59 VETS SALUTES THE NPS!

Our project here at the 59 VETERANS PROJECT to help veterans and work with the NPS (National Park Service) to accomplish this, is still working its way toward fruition. But we wanted to take a moment to thank the NPS, which will be partnering with us in this great enterprise.

As an agency of the United States federal government, the the National Park Service manages all our national parks, numerous national monuments, and other conservation and historical properties throughout the United States (including Hawaii). The NPS was created on August 25, 1916, by Congress when it passed the National Park Service Organic Act, and is part of the U.S. Department of the Interior.

The NPS is responsible for preserving and protecting the ecological and historical integrity of these sacred places. And also managing and making them available and accessible for public use and enjoyment.

As of 2014, the NPS employs 21,651 employees, many of them park rangers, who oversee 417 sites, of which 59 are designated our national parks. To learn more about the National Park Service and our magnificent 59 national parks, you can visit these online sites: https://www.nps.gov/index.htm and http://www.nationalparkservice.org/.

Meanwhile, to learn more about us, the 59 VETERANS PROJECT, visit our headquarters company on the Internet here: http://59veterans.com/, and join us on Facebook to read epic stories about our veterans and national parks (https://www.facebook.com/59veterans/). We welcome you to join us so we may ascend this summit together!

The 59 Vets Project Knows What Memorial Day is. Do You?

THIS IS MEMORIAL DAY

WHAT IS MEMORIAL DAY? – PLEASE SHARE!

Tomorrow is Memorial Day. It is not a holiday. It is a day of remembrance, commemoration and observance. A day to remember our fallen heroes and all the military members of the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Coast Guard and all reserve/national guard units who fought and died and gave “the last full measure of devotion” to our country and so that all of us may live in freedom and liberty.

Memorial Day is to remember and honor all these valiant souls.

Thus, it is our sacred duty and greatest honor for all of us here at the 59 VETERANS PROJECT to observe, respect and devote tomorrow, Memorial Day, to all who have served and fought and died for the United States of America. So…

Bugler, commence TAPS!
Veterans and military personnel, PRESENT…ARMS!

All Americans, HAND SALUTE!

59 Vets Project Welcomes You to Lake Clark National Park!

LAKE CLARK NAT'L PARK

WE’D LOVE YOU TO SHARE THIS POST EVERYWHERE!

Lake Clark National Park in beautiful, rugged Alaska is the journey and experience of a lifetime for anyone who visits it. Maybe not as well known as many of our country’s popular parks (Yosemite, Yellowstone, Death Valley, Grand Canyon). But Lake Clark definitely offers an equally unforgettable adventure to those ready to take an eager jaunt to America’s largest state.

First declared a national monument in 1978, and then established as a national park and preserve in 1980, the region around Lake Clark features four active volcanoes, including Mount Redoubt, as well as an abundance of rivers, glaciers, waterfalls, and a vast expanse of verdant terrain. Temperate rainforests, a tundra plateau, and three mountain ranges complement Lake Clark’s splendid landscape.

Wikipedia says: “The wide variety of ecosystems in the park means that virtually all major Alaskan animals, terrestrial and marine, may be seen in and around the park [including the brown bear and red fox]. Salmon, particularity sockeye salmon, play a major role in the ecosystem. No roads lead to the park and it can only be reached by boat or small aircraft, typically floatplanes. The major settled area in the park and preserve is Port Alsworth on Lake Clark. Five other settlements are within the park, populated mainly by Dena’ina natives.”

Naturally, all of us here at the 59 VETERANS PROJECT can’t wait to personally experience Lake Clark National Park and traverse its amazing precincts in the company of U.S. Veterans who we will be training for a new career in 4K ultra high-definition and virtual reality videography. To learn more about our project, visit 9us at http://59veterans.com/, and join us in this epic summit we are destined to ascend!

A warm and affectionate reunion with family is what every member of our Armed Forces deserves and relishes after a long deployment. And this means with every member of the family! As this heartwarming video shows: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RKBcs9tNWg8

Well, some people can say what they want, but dogs know what family is. And friendship. And love. Likewise, all of us here at the 59 VETERANS PROJECT know how much we love our veterans and can’t wait to be traversing, videographing and photographing our 59 national parks with them. To learn more about our mission to help veterans, visit us on Facebook here…https://www.facebook.com/59veterans/.  And join us as we ascend this summit together!
