LIFE ABOARD A US AIRCRAFT CARRIER IS AWESOME!
The USS Theodore Roosevelt is one bad-ass ship and an aircraft carrier not to be trifled with or ever ignored. It recently completed carrier qualifications and is now back on station in the Indo-Pacific. So, rest well and feel safe, Indo-Pacific. You are in good hands! The absolute best, actually.

AN U.S. AC IS MORE GIGANTIC THAN THE TITANIC!
Just how big and immense is a U.S. aircraft carrier?
Well, as you can see from the accompanying pic, the RMS Titanic (famous for so many cinematic and tragic reasons) could fit atop a U.S. aircraft carrier with space to spare.
But unlike giant civilian cruise ships before and after, life and service aboard a military aircraft carrier have nothing recreational or vacational about it. It’s all work and duty, fraught with risk and danger, as so aptly depicted in Shane Steinhart’s gripping memoir “My Navy Life.” Available on amazon, it’s an exciting and unsinkable reading experience! 🇺🇸⚓️🇺🇸

TIME FOR A CHANGE OF COMMAND CEREMONY!
There’s hardly anything as rousing and inspiring as standing at attention before the Colors, alongside hundreds of shipmates, at a change of command ceremony aboard a U.S. Navy combat vessel at sea.
And it doesn’t get any better or more exciting than experiencing this event aboard one of the Navy’s biggest and toughest ships of the line: an U.S. aircraft carrier!
