The 59 Vets Commemorates the 72nd Anniversary of the U.S. Air Force!

AIR FORCE 72ND

THEY WHO SOAR & FIGHT ALONGSIDE EAGLES!

Yesterday, September 18, the U.S. Air Force enjoyed a birthday. It’s 72nd birthday, to be exact. However, the military air branch has gone through several names over the years, even since World War I. They include the Air Service of the US Army, the Air Corps and even the Army Air Force.

But finally, in 1947, President Harry Truman signed the National Security Act, thus establishing the United States Air Force as a separate and unique branch of our U.S. military.

So, it is our pleasure here at the 59 Veterans to offer a hearty shout–out and Happy Birthday to the United States Air Force. To Air Force veterans past and present, we thank you for your service and salute you! 🇺🇸💖🇺🇸

The 59 Vets Introduce You to Gateway Arch National Park!

1GATEWAY ARCH NATIONAL PARK

WE WAIT TO STROLL THROUGH THIS GATEWAY WITH VETERANS!

The 59 Veterans Project is working diligently to launch our journey of education to train U.S. veterans for a new career in 4K ultra high-definition and virtual reality videography. The project will produce a series of 1-hour programs featuring each of America’s 59 National Parks. One of these is Gateway Arch National Park in Missouri.

The Gateway Arch is a 630-foot (192 m) catenary arch built to commemorate the Lewis and Clark Expedition of 1804, initiated by Thomas Jefferson, which induced the westward expansion of the country.

The nearby Old Courthouse to the west of the arch was the first site of the Dred Scott case about slavery. And a museum located in the underground visitor center below the arch, describes the arch’s construction and the country’s growth. The park is not huge but it is a profoundly epic place to visit!

To learn more about this unique national park, you can go here: https://www.nps.gov/jeff/index.htm. And to learn about our project to help veterans, please visit us on Facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/59veterans/. With veterans and friends beside us, we can’t wait to ascend this lofty summit!

We think it’s awesome. We think it’s inspiring. And we salute and thank the five Puro sisters for their dedication, patriotism and service! https://lnkd.in/gDPCs7d

The 59 Veterans Project Can’t Wait to Visit Biscayne National Park with Veterans!

1Biscayne National Park5

WE CAN’T WAIT TO TREK THIS PARK WITH VETERANS!

Established on June 28, 1980, Biscayne National Park in Florida is an oceanic, underwater paradise of astonishing plant and animal sea life just waiting to be swam with, photographed and experienced!

Located in Florida’s Biscayne Bay, this national park lies at the north end of the Florida Keys, is a habitat for several endangered species and holds four interrelated marine ecosystems: the mangrove forest, the Bay, the Keys and coral reefs. Some threatened animals include the West Indian manatee, the American crocodile, various sea turtles and the peregrine falcon.

Swimming, surfing, sailing, snorkeling, boating, parasailing and numerous other outdoor activities are to be had here, and all of us at the 59 Veterans can’t wait to share and enjoy them with our military veterans when our project is launched.

To learn more about this paradiso national park, visit this major site online: https://www.nps.gov/bisc/index.htm. And to learn about our project to help military veterans, please visit our headquarters here: http://59veterans.com/. We hope you will join us so we can ascend this summit together!
