Virgin Islands National Park by the 59 Veterans!

A PARK OF SHEER BEAUTY TO SHARE WITH OUR U.S. VETERANS!

Virgin Islands National Park located (of course!) in the Virgin Islands amidst the vast Caribbean Sea may just well be our nation’s most beautiful national park.

Consisting of the main islands of Saint Croix, Saint John and Saint Thomas, and numerous minor islands, the U.S. Territory is part of the Virgin Islands archipelago and the Leeward Islands of the Lesser Antilles just east of Puerto Rico and west of the British Virgin Islands.

The island park exists entirely on Saint John and preserves ancient Taíno archaeological sites and sugar plantation ruins that date from the time of Christopher Columbus.

Saint John is rich with foliage and hundreds of flora and wildlife species that include mangrove forests, seagrass beds, and coral reefs. But its pristine beaches may be the most beautiful in the world, a paradise unlike any other, and the ultimate spot for swimming, surfing, sailing, snorkeling, and just hanging out to work on your perfect tan!

To learn more about this beautiful national park, we recommend visiting the National Park Service site online. And please visit us the 59 Veterans here on Facebook or LinkedIn to learn about our project to help veterans. We welcome everyone to join us as we ascend this lofty summit!
