The 59 Vets Salutes the U.S. Army!

WE SHOULD CELEBRATE OUR VETERANS ALL YEAR-LONG!

What began in 1775 as the Continental Army has become the strongest, best-equipped, best-trained, bravest and fightingest fighting force in the world: the U.S. Army!

From the hallowed precincts of Bunker Hill, Trenton and Yorktown to the battlefields of Gettysburg, Spotsylvania, Meuse-Argonne, Anzio, Normandy, Pusan Perimeter, Tet Offensive and throughout Iraq and Afghanistan, the U.S. Army has served our country with valor, duty and incredible sacrifice for 244 years. It is June, so it is our honor to give a shout-out to our nation’s largest military branch and commemorate the 244th Anniversary of the U.S. Army.

Attention!

Hand salute!

Sgt Al’s Fundraiser for His Podcast

CROWDFUNDING VIDEO COVER PIC

My Sgt Al readers, I need your help.

I’m about to launch a nationally syndicated podcast with 99% market saturation, but I need to cover the production costs until I can get sponsors. I need donations to cover those costs up to $15,000. Any amount will do.

Please, this is a great opportunity for me to help even more people as we head down this road on our journey toward the Electric Car Revolution, so don’t let this movement slip by. Thank you for your consideration.

The U.S. Coast Guard at Normandy, June 6, 1944!

1-85

PLEASE SHARE WITH VETS EVERYWHERE!

As a follow-up to our recent D-Day 75th Anniversary post, all of us here at the 59 Veterans Project want to give a shout-out to the United States Coast Guard. Many do not know it, but the U.S. Coast Guard played a huge, critical role on June 6, 1944, in the five beach landings at Normandy, France.

In fact, the Coast Guard provided 99 ships consisting of manned warships, landing craft and cutters to the Normandy landings. Four of those landing craft were lost at Omaha Beach that day: LCI(L)s 85 (pictured here), 91, 92 and 93. Plus, over 55 cutters were present during the entire invasion serving as search and rescue craft. They saved hundreds of lives and lost many of their own during this most critical of all WWII battles.

Come Visit Olympic National Park with the 59 Veterans!

1OLYMPIC NATIONAL PARK

SHARE WITH U.S. VETS AND NAT’L PARK LOVERS EVERYWHERE!

If you enjoy dramatic cloudbursts, epic wet vistas and torrential rains when you hike, bike, tour and experience the great national park outdoors, then you need to visit Olympic National Park in Washington state. You won’t need a boat but galoshes and a sturdy umbrella may come in handy!

Established on June 29, 1938 and located on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington, this park includes a wide range of ecosystems from the Pacific shoreline to temperate rainforests to the alpine slopes of the Olympic Mountains, the tallest of which is Mount Olympus. The Hoh Rainforest and Quinault Rainforest are the wettest areas in the contiguous U.S, with the Hoh receiving an average rainfall of almost 12 ft (3.7 m) of rain every year. But it’s beautiful to behold and soak in!

To learn more about this epic national park, visit this site: https://www.nps.gov/olym/index.htm. And to learn about us and our project to help veterans, please visit us online at http://59veterans.com/. We can’t wait to ascend this summit with torrential pleasure and Olympian reward!

Vets In Arms: This Is What Memorial Day Means!

1MEMORIAL DAY 3-DAY WEEKEND

DON’T FEAR TO SHARE THIS EVERYWHERE!

We don’t know about you. But all of us at VETS IN ARMS aren’t doing the backyard barbecue this weekend. Nor will we be recreating at the mall, the beach, the amusement park, at movie theaters, nightclubs, parties or at the local picnic grounds.

We’re going out and visiting the nearest national cemetery. And spend some quality time with fallen heroes.

They speak to us. And we’re going to bow our heads and listen, and honor and revere them! 🇺🇸️🇺🇸️🇺🇸
