America’s Most Decorated G.I. from the 59 Veterans Project!

1AUDIE MURPHY

SHARE WITH VETERANS FROM EVERY WAR!

1MEUSE-ARGONNEExactly 100 years ago, in 1918, one of the fiercest, bloodiest and largest battles ever fought by American G.I.s occurred. The largest American cemetery in Europe marks the place: Meuse-Argonne, France. Well, it occurred during a conflict that many have come to term “The Forgotten War.”

World War I.

But here at the 59 VETERANS we don’t intend to ever let such be forgotten. Not any place, any battlefield, any war zone where American veterans served, fought, bled and died will we forget! Part of our mission here is this. Thus, it is our honor to share this salient article and tribute with fellow veterans and Americans. That is a tribute to all those who served, fought and died at the Battle of Meuse-Argonne 100 years ago.

We remember you! We salute you!

YELLOWSTONE + VETERANS = A POST TO READ & SHARE!

1YELLOWSTONE
Our excitement and energy here at the 59 VETS remain high as we draw ever nearer the launch of our project to train veterans for a new career in 4K ultra high-definition and virtual reality videography. The project will produce a series of one-hour programs featuring each of America’s 59 National Parks. Naturally, this includes the one and only Yellowstone National Park, the home of beautiful rugged landscapes and epic geysers!

To get a taste of this phenomenal national park, it’s our pleasure to share a post from the Yellowstone NPS page on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/YellowstoneNPS/). Check it out when you get a chance. And visit our headquarters company online to learn more about our project to help veterans. Here: http://59veterans.com/. And come join us as we ascend this tremendous summit together!

From Yellowstone National Park page:

What do six predictable geysers, 12 campgrounds, nine lodges, and road construction have in common in Yellowstone? You can now find out real-time information about them in the latest iOS update of the official NPS Yellowstone app. See https://www.nps.gov/yell/planyourvisit/app.htm for full details and download links.

The 59 Veterans Project Commemorates 9/11

LEST WE FORGET! LEST WE FORGET!

All Americans know what happened 17 years ago today. If they don’t, they should! Well, it’s our honor here at the 59 VETERANS PROJECT to commemorate and remember 9-11-2001 and all who lost their lives and loved ones that day.

Thus, we are honored to share this profound post from a combat veteran who stands with us in today’s hand salute!

From Nick Primiano – USMC Combat Veteran
President & CEO at Smart Technology Solutions LLC

At 5:45 Pacific time on the morning of September 11, 2001, Ensign Michael Murphy and his BUD/S classmates were conducting a morning PT session. One of the instructors called them into a classroom with two large television screens which displayed the carnage and devastation occurring on the other side of the country.

For the next ninety minutes the men all sat in disbelief as both towers of the World Trade Center collapsed, the Pentagon was attacked and a fourth plane crashed in Pennsylvania. As Murphy watched the events unfold so close to his home of Long Island, he was concerned for his best friends Jim and Owen O’Callaghan both now serving as NY Policeman.

He knew that they would be at the WTC along with their uncle who was a firefighter. The instructor walked to the front of the classroom while he muted the sound on the TVs. He said: “Gentlemen, this changes everything. We’re going to war!”

In the picture below of LT Murphy you will notice the orange patch on his right arm. While Michael and his Team were in Afghanistan they wore the patch of FDNY Engine 53 Ladder 43 El Barrio’s Bravest to remind them of 9-11-01. LT Murphy died with that patch on his uniform.

So, never forget those who died on American soil or those who have died in lands far from home. Never forget those who served and serve and are our veterans and first responders.

ATTENTION!

HAND SALUTE!
