As a professional writer, there are numerous writing and editing services I provide professional businesses and individuals alike. One of these is writing personalized poems. Almost regardless of the subject or specifics, I can probably write you an elegant and poignant poem to memorialize that special person or event you have in mind. And my fees are quite reasonable! Plus, I will write it in true verse, with rhyme and meter and structure and depth! Drop me a note and I’ll tell you how I can write you a poem that is uniquely yours.

I also write different genres or categories of verse including nature, philosophy. humor, family, politics and even for brand products! Herewith, however, is a poem you might say falls somewhere between the categories of religion and spirituality.  And hope.

Now surrounded here by death and doom and disaster,
Despair is my pilot and tragedy my master!
(And my only hope is to be saved by a Stranger).
But yes, I knew a life of warmth and joy and laughter
And one that was guided by faith and the Hereafter;
It was one that could confront any fear or danger!

But now when I became a drowning man in the sea
With nothing around but drowning waves and tides and me,
I would pray some stranger came to set my life anew!
And though I have no hopes nor friends here now to save me
Nor even the faith in God that God Himself gave me,
I pray to hear His voice say: “Hold on, I will save you!”

As much of the nation is experiencing some pretty cold temperatures this holiday, we think it is the perfect time to share some warm thoughts and images to help get you through the day.

Did you know one of the National Parks is in the Virgin Islands? St. John encompasses 7000 plus acres and offers some pretty breathtaking views from many of its hills, valleys and beaches. It has an underwater trail on Trunk Bay Beach (pictured) and is considered one of the Top 10 Beaches in the world.

And did you know that the 59 VETERANS PROJECT is a major operation in the process of creating an amazing enterprise that will be of tremendous benefit to both our military veterans and national parks? Visit our official website to learn more. And come join us! Here: http://www.59veterans.com

There were several famous and very distinguished U.S. veterans who were born in the month of November.  But probably none more famous or distinguished than General George S. Patton, Jr., who was born on Veterans Day!

His military exploits and heroism during both World War I and World War II are legendary.  And his awards for valor exemplary, including the Distinguished Service Cross (2), Distinguished Service Medal (3), Silver Star (2), Legion of Merit, Bronze Star, Purple Heart, Order of the Bath, and Order of the British Empire.

“Old Blood and Guts” may have been a hard taskmaster, but I daresay no one loved his men more, was always staunchly loyal to them and led from the front as did General Patton (and perhaps no general more beloved by his troops than he!). The famous movie about his life is largely true and immensely entertaining and inspiring.  Patton was a brilliant general and inimitable leader.  And despite the many controversies about his life, he was an honorable man of the highest order.

We salute him and all our military veterans and active duty servicemen and women!

The Powerful Garden of SEX DRUGS & ISLAM!

In his short masterpiece “As a Man Thinketh,” James Allen wisely compares the mind to a garden—a beautiful analogy. Allen says that if you don’t cultivate your garden, plant the right seeds, cut the waste and harmful weeds and keep the mind garden well-tended, plants will wilt and die and wild plants will take over.

No one knows this philosophy of life better than Dari Ghaznavi, author of SEX DRUGS & ISLAM, an amazingly true, action-filled story about how Dari cultivated his life garden of dangerous, harmful weeds to one of peace and harmony…and beautiful flowers!

If you haven’t read an awesome page-turner in a long while, SEX DRUGS & ISLAM is the ultimate one I recommend for you. Expect not a dull moment or less than sensational experience in every page you turn.

Check it out here and give yourself the pleasure of a great read! http://www.amazon.com/Sex-Drugs-Islam-Autobiography-Fighter-ebook/dp/B00O2OOEIE/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1415911854&sr=1-1&keywords=sex+drugs+%26+islam+autobiography+of+an+x+fighter+pilot
